Overview

MyIP State (myipstate.com) provides IP lookup, DNS resolution, privacy scoring, browser fingerprinting, and speed test tools. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site.

We do not require account registration. Most checks run in your browser; some features call our API to look up IP or domain data.

Information we process

When you visit myipstate.com, Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP address, User-Agent, timestamps) as part of hosting the service.

If you use IP lookup, privacy score, DNS lookup, or Whois, the IP address or domain you submit is sent to our API for processing.

Privacy score and browser info pages may run local checks (DNS leak, WebRTC, fingerprint components) in your browser. Results are displayed to you and are not stored on our servers unless required for the request you initiated.

Language preference may be stored in a cookie (`myip_locale`) when you manually switch language.

Third-party services

DNS lookups may query public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (e.g. Google, Cloudflare, AdGuard, AliDNS).

Speed tests connect directly from your browser to Cloudflare speed test endpoints; large traffic does not pass through our Worker.

Maps may load tiles from OpenStreetMap. GeoIP data comes from local MMDB databases on our infrastructure.

Data retention

We do not maintain user profiles. Server logs retained by Cloudflare follow Cloudflare's default retention policies.

Do not submit sensitive personal data through lookup fields beyond what is necessary for the tool you are using.

Your choices

You can clear site cookies in your browser settings. You may use the tools without creating an account.
